At Kidstuff, we aim to offer fair, reliable shipping rates and get your purchases to you as quickly as possible.

Our main courier provider is Post Haste, which we use for its competitive rates and reliable service. Occasionally, we may use NZ Post where required.

These rates apply to standard-sized parcels. Oversized items may incur additional delivery charges, as outlined below.

Estimated Delivery Times

Post Haste offers fast delivery services throughout New Zealand.

Typical delivery targets after dispatch:

• Local and regional deliveries: Usually the next working day.

• Between the North and South Islands: Next working day or within 2 working days, depending on the courier service.

• Rural deliveries: Please allow an additional 2–3 working days.

Delivery times are estimates only and begin once your parcel has been dispatched, not from when your order is placed.

Delivery may take longer during busy periods, public holidays, severe weather or other courier disruptions.

Oversized Items

Some larger products, such as dolls' houses, large toys and play mats, may incur additional shipping charges.

Because these items vary in size and weight, we may need to calculate their delivery cost separately after checkout. This allows us to obtain an accurate courier quote and find the most economical shipping option available.

If additional freight is required:

• We will contact you with the cost before charging anything extra.

• You can choose to accept the additional charge, remove the oversized item or cancel your order.

• If you decide not to proceed, we will arrange the appropriate refund for any cancelled items or order.

We recommend contacting us before purchasing a particularly large item if you would like a shipping estimate.

Free Click & Collect

You're always welcome to collect your online order from our Timaru store.

Kidstuff – 170 Stafford Street, Timaru

Click & Collect is completely free.

Please allow a couple of hours during our opening hours for your order to be processed. We'll send you a Ready for Pickup notification when your order is ready to collect.

If you need your order urgently, please contact us and we'll do our best to prioritise it.

Changed your mind about delivery?

If you've paid for shipping but would prefer to collect your order, just contact us before it has been dispatched. We're happy to refund your shipping charge in full.

Christmas & Busy Delivery Periods

During Christmas and other busy periods, courier networks can experience delays due to increased parcel volumes.

We recommend ordering early, particularly if your purchase is needed for a special occasion.

If your parcel is taking longer than expected, please contact us and we'll be happy to help investigate.

Our standard shipping rates may change from time to time. Any additional delivery charges for an existing order will be discussed and agreed with you before payment.
